How to Recover When You Fail

Text: 1 Samuel 30:4-8

.Failing is part of life and a greater part of a successful person’s life. Perhaps you want to be a business owner but you don’t have funds or the proper licensing, maybe your heart’s desire is to be a school teacher but you’ve failed the required diploma tests. Consider this-it took John Kennedy Jr.III attempts to pass the bar exam.

The word of God is a book of recovery. David grew well and blessed in Ziklag but he lost everything in 1hour and almost died. He recovered all in 24hrs.How did he do it? Focus on the priority of God and not your pain. God is saying to you focus on my priorities and you will recover all.

To recover when you fail or fall:

And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions: 5 But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb. 6 And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. 7 And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat. 8 Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? And why is thy heart grieved? Am not I better to thee than ten sons? 1 Sam 1:4-8 (KJV).

1. The first thing David did He praised God. He encouraged himself in the Lord;

Because God inhabits the praises of his people. (Psalm 22:3, Isaiah 61:3)

David understood how to how to praise God when in trouble, though it’s never easy, but praise brings deliverance. Praise preserves the saints. Praise is a weapon of vengeance. (Psalm 71:6-8)

2. Second Law of recovery from a fall find someone who believes in you to pray with you; David agreed with Abiathar the priest. The prayer of agreement also helped the disciples of Jesus replace Judas.

3. The 3rd Law of recovery is to take a step of Faith;

Even though in pain, make the move. Obey God to prove that you believe His word. David and his men pursued based on the promise of God. So go ahead, reposition yourself…you will eventually recover from the fall.

Ziklag was also a place where David grew well and blessed, but he lost everything in a split second. But his response to Pain, made him to recover all. Don’t disconnect yourself from that pain; it’s also a place for your crowning.

Ziklag was a place of blessing and a place of Pain, so that the promise of God may come to pass. Every one of us has been in Ziklag. If you have praying to God to get you out of Ziklag, God may not answer, because the crown is coming to Ziklag. God send power to the place of your pain. If you move out, you will miss the crown. Jesus endured the cross, despised the shame, for the joy that was set before him.

Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Faith develops in the dark.

There is a shift coming in your direction. Don’t give up now in that relationship. Your marriage may be in Ziklag, your job may be in Ziklag, your business may be in Ziklag. But the pain will become the promise. The quicker the Labour pain, the quicker the baby come. Receive the power to stay until the crown comes.

4. The 4th Law of Recovery (1Sam.30:9)

Take hold of your authority and attack the enemy. We have to exercise our authority as believers continuous. Resist the devil through prayers and your declaration of your victory through the blood of Jesus, and he will flee from you

5. The 5th law of recovery is to sow a seed;

In 1Samuel 30:26, we can see an offering gave David the (promise) throne. He sent them an offering saying is still here. He sowed upward the offering means honouring the elders. And his throne was restored back to him

Summary

Activate the force of Prayer of Agreement,

Activate the Force of Faith,

Activate your Authority in Christ,

Activate the power of a seed,

-No more loss, its total recovery.

Receive the Grace to recover all you have loss to the enemy in Jesus Name!

ESTABLISHED AS GOD’S HOLY PEOPLE

” The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways. “

Deut 28:9 (KJV)

SObedienceometimes, we promise to do some things for people on the basis that they would give something in return. Usually, the one making the promise is more endowed than the one being promised. Such is the case in our passage today. God makes so many promises and He is capable of fulfilling them but it is as we fulfil our part of the bargain. Undoubtedly, God will keep to His promises. It is humans who usually fail on their parts.

God our Father expects that we fully obey Him in all things and be careful in doing all that He has asked us to do (v. 1). We must not be careless or uncaring about the things of God. Obedience to God is not just doing things because you have been told to do it. Rather, it is doing it heartily because you love and serve the Lord (Colossians 3:23-24). You can be established as God’s child today if you will determine to obey Him at all times.

NATURE OF FAITH

The Nature of Faith

genuine-faith (1)Faith is the lifeline that connects man to divine resources. Faith is a force that attracts God’s gift into human life. What flows from deity to humanity is channeled through faith. Faith is a force of God in an unseen realm that precedes seen results. Faith makes tangible a happy anticipation of good hope. (Heb 11:1), divine approval is only obtained through faith actions.

Faith is a principle initiated by God. God is a faith God. Heaven and earth are faith results. The whole creation is a product of faith actions. Faith filled WORDS were the raw materials the creator employed to get the creations. Faith is a product of words and it is expressed in words. Faith is a dynamic process that starts off with the hearing of ears, goes on to believing with the heart and released through the movement of the lips; all though the word agent. God had his world by speaking his word; you too can have your world by speaking your words which are in line with God’s word. Faith is based on God’s word which is infallible

Faith is an assurance that culminates from trust in the integrity of another. The integrity of God cannot be over emphasized. He had sworn by himself and eternal insurance is placed on his words (settled forever). His words provide a solid front on which we stand firmly, knowing fully well that the speaker is seated at the universe highest seat of authority (Right Hand of God). We operate in faith unconsciously, seeing the faithfulness is the language of the covenant and knowing that our covenant partner (God) is faithful enough to carry out His promises. In the midst of adverse circumstances and helpless situations, we stand by faith undistributed knowing the victory is the endpoint of a faith path.

Faith is Inborn

GLORY

What is the meaning of Glory?

Glory-crop-with-titleIt is the manifestation of the word of God. It is also the manifestation of the presence of God. Man is the glory of God because God spoke and man became a living soul. You were born in the Glory of God!

The objective of Satan is for you to receive his own word (condemnation, you’ll die, you cannot achieve); this things affect your thoughts and dislocate you from the will of God for your life. The word of God says You have all you need; on the other hand devil says you don’t have anything!

#Scripture Isaiah 40:5
And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see [it] together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken [it].

The glory of God comes when he speaks, so to see his glory you speak his word and his Glory is made manifested.
The word was first spoken then written; so we now speak the written word and see the Glory!
